Founded in 2019, the Albrecht Fund is a non-profit organization committed to building long-term educational pathways for underserved youth in Southeast Asia.
While the Fund began by providing scholarships to orphans, it has evolved into a broader initiative focused on removing structural barriers to opportunity. We believe that intelligence and talent are evenly distributed — but access is not.
Today, Albrecht Fund works to expand access to knowledge, language proficiency, and personal development for rural and vulnerable students, equipping them with the tools to participate confidently in a globalized world.
Our Mission
We believe education is not charity — it is infrastructure.
It is the foundation for mobility, dignity, and leadership.
Through a combination of:
Targeted scholarships
Free online English programs
Community-based reading initiatives
Capacity-building workshops
Albrecht Fund creates structured pathways that support students from early adolescence to higher education.
Our Approach
Rather than providing one-time assistance, we focus on building sustained growth:
Access – Removing financial and geographic barriers to learning
Language – Developing English proficiency as a gateway to global opportunity
Capacity – Strengthening soft skills, confidence, and critical thinking
Identity – Encouraging students to see themselves as capable leaders of their communities
We measure success not only by enrollment numbers, but by long-term progression: university access, scholarship attainment, and alumni engagement.
Our Impact Vision
By investing in education, we aim to break intergenerational poverty and cultivate a new generation of rural leaders who can contribute meaningfully to both local communities and the broader global landscape.
Albrecht Fund is not only supporting students.
We are building human capital for the future.
We establish community-based reading hubs and street libraries in remote areas, nurturing reading habits, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity through guided circles and youth-led initiatives.

Through structured, level-based English learning tracks, we equip students with the language skills needed to access higher education and global opportunities. Progress is continuously assessed to ensure measurable growth.

CORE PROGRAMS

For students who demonstrate sustained commitment and leadership, we provide highly selective scholarships as a final-stage investment in their educational journey.
ALBRECHT SUMMIT
ALBRECHT RISE
A selected group of high-potential students from economically vulnerable backgrounds enter our multi-year development track, receiving mentorship, soft skills training, career exposure, and resilience-building support.
Together, our hybrid model combines depth and scale — developing 300 core students through intensive tracking while engaging 500–700 additional students annually at the community level.
ALBRECHT IMPACT
Through workshops and youth-led projects, students learn to become active contributors to their communities.

Sustainability in Action
Our Sustainability in Action program empowers youth to take the lead in environmental stewardship and social change. By organizing community-based workshops and youth-led social initiatives, we encourage students to not only engage with sustainability issues but to actively contribute solutions. This program instills a sense of responsibility and leadership through service learning, enabling participants to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
